Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This policy explains how Aerospace Printing Systems collects, uses, secures, and protects your personal information and uploaded CAD and 3D model files throughout the quoting and printing process. We treat your design data as confidential and limit access to the people and systems that need it to produce your order.

1. Files You Upload

When you request a quote or place an order, you may upload 3D model files (STL, OBJ, 3MF, PLY) or CAD files (STEP, IGES). These files are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored securely in our cloud storage. Files are used exclusively for quoting, manufacturing, and quality inspection of your order.

2. How Files Are Stored

Uploaded files are kept in access-controlled cloud storage. Access is limited to authorized production and engineering staff who require the file to fulfill your order. Files are never published, indexed, or made publicly accessible. Each file is associated with your order record and retained only as long as needed for production and post-delivery support.

3. Who Can Access Your Files

Only trained personnel directly involved in producing, inspecting, or shipping your parts can access your uploaded files. Internal staff with access to the order management system are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not share, sell, or distribute your design files to third parties, except to the extent required to manufacture and ship your order (for example, a contracted shipping carrier receiving a shipping label).

4. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest in our storage provider is encrypted at the infrastructure level. We apply least-privilege access controls, monitor for unauthorized access, and maintain audit logs of administrative activity. Our systems are reviewed regularly to keep protections current with industry standards.

5. Payment Information

Payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive card details on our servers. Stripe returns a tokenized payment reference that we store solely to reconcile your order and handle refunds if needed.

6. File Retention & Deletion

We retain uploaded design files for the duration of production and for a limited period afterward to support reorders, warranty claims, and quality records. If you would like your files deleted sooner, you may request removal at any time and we will delete them from active storage, subject to any legal or record-keeping obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights, title, and interest in the designs you upload. We claim no ownership over your intellectual property. By uploading a file you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use the file solely for the purpose of quoting, manufacturing, and delivering your order.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and uploaded files at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information on our Contact page and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
