Quality Assurance

Inspected before it leaves the shop

No part ships without passing a four-stage inspection for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.

01

Incoming File Review

Every uploaded model is inspected in-slicer for orientation, support strategy, and potential print-failure points before it enters production.

02

First-Layer Verification

The first layer is visually checked for adhesion and squish. Print parameters are confirmed against the material profile.

03

Dimensional Inspection

Critical dimensions are measured with calibrated calipers against your drawing or the quoted bounding box. Out-of-spec parts are reprinted.

04

Structural & Cosmetic Check

Parts are checked for delamination, voids, warping, and cosmetic defects. Finishes (smooth, paint, casting) are inspected for surface quality.

Our Quality Standards

Dimensional Accuracy

General FDM tolerances of ±0.3 mm (or ±0.2%) are verified on critical features. Tighter tolerances available via manual post-machining on request.

Structural Integrity

Layer adhesion, infill consistency, and orientation are validated against the load path. Functional parts receive an additional handling stress check.

Calibration

Build plates and extruders are leveled and flow-calibrated per material. Measuring tools are calibrated on a documented schedule.

Rework Policy

Parts failing inspection are reprinted at no charge. If a received part doesn't meet spec, contact us for a replacement or refund.
